1. Collaboration and Communication

1.1. Service Delivery: Pelio delivers custom design services including branding packs, logos, websites, and supporting material.
Each client communicates with Pelio through email, platform messaging, or direct form submissions. Timely, honest feedback is essential for service quality. Final approval of deliverables is considered acceptance; no further revisions will be permitted after approval.

1.2. Design Process and Deliverables:

All designs are original and custom-made.
Final deliverables include source files (.AI, .PSD, .SVG, .Figma, .EPS, PNG, JPG) where applicable.
Basic brand guidelines are included, detailing color codes, typography, and layout standards.
Full ownership and copyright rights are transferred upon receipt of final payment.

1.3. Design Originality:
Pelio does not use stock graphics, pre-made templates, or recycled materials in its designs. Every design is created specifically for the client.

1.4. Client Delays:
Service delivery begins after questionnaire or form submission and payment. Delay in submitting the required information may affect delivery timelines and does not warrant a refund.

2. Intellectual Property and Source Files

Full copyright ownership and usage rights across all mediums are transferred upon full payment.
The client has the right to modify, adapt, and register the work.
Until final payment is received, Pelio retains all rights, and the client may not use any proposed designs.

Pelio retains the right to showcase finished projects in its portfolio unless otherwise agreed.

3. Confidentiality (NDA)

Pelio agrees to:

Keep all shared business, brand, and project information confidential.
Use such information solely for delivering the agreed services.
Restrict access to client information only to employees or contractors bound by similar confidentiality obligations.
Sign a formal NDA if required by the client.

4. Data Protection

Pelio complies with the UK Data Protection Act 2018 and GDPR:

We collect personal information (name, email, company details, project files) solely for service delivery and record-keeping.
We store information securely and never sell it to third parties.
Clients may request to access, amend, or delete their data by contacting info@peliostudio.com.

5. Fees and Payment

All projects are payable in advance unless otherwise agreed in writing.
Payment confirms project commencement.
Deposits and advance payments are non-refundable once work has commenced.

Cancellation Policy: If the client cancels after project start:

Client must pay for all work completed to date.
Client must cover any non-cancellable external costs.
A Cancellation fee equal to 15% of the outstanding project value will be charged.

6. Refund Policy

Due to the custom nature of Pelio's services:

All sales are final after work begins.
Refunds are not issued unless Pelio fails to deliver the agreed service.
If Pelio cannot deliver due to internal issues, a service credit may be offered at Pelio’s discretion.

7. Limitation of Liability

Pelio is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.
Liability is limited to the amount paid by the client for the services.
We are not responsible for losses caused by third parties or external vendors engaged by the client.

8. Client Responsibilities

Clients must review all deliverables carefully before approval.
Final sign-off is binding; Pelio is not liable for errors discovered afterward.

9. Disengagement

If there is no client communication for 2 months, the project will be considered terminated, and Pelio will retain all applicable payments.

10. Miscellaneous

These Terms constitute the entire agreement between the client and Pelio.
Amendments must be made in writing.
If any term is found invalid or unenforceable, the remainder shall continue in full force.
